HEKS/EPER gives humanitarian and emergency aid and fights the causes of hunger, injustice and social deprivation. HEKS/EPER has its own coordination offices in 20 key countries and 200 projects worldwide.

Background information on the HEKS/EPER South Sudan program
HEKS/EPER implements through its five local partner organisations (PO) seven development projects in South Sudan (WASH, agriculture, fishery, skills development, informal education, access to land).
Tasks & expected outcomes
· Provide assistance in facilitating and coordinating activities of implementing partner organisations.
· Conduct regular field level monitoring visits to project sites on a rolling programme.
· Prepare monitoring reports.
· Assist in preparing detailed work plans/budgets for the projects.
· Render timely technical assistance to implementing partner organisations especially in the areas of food security, livelihoods, gender, mainstreaming, local capacity for peace / Do No Harm/ and participatory project planning methods.
· Review progress made towards the proposed work plan as well as the stated objective and results on a quarterly basis.
· Assist the organization in arranging & conducting training, workshops and meetings.
· Show good interpersonal skills and a belief in team spirit.
· Oversee project progress, reporting, monitoring, evaluation and financial information, especially in respect of cross-cutting issues.
· Take a major role in project planning, appraisal, monitoring and evaluation
· Contribute to the implementation and running of specific projects / programmes, working mainly independently
· Maintain contacts with partner organisations at various levels
· Supervise staff and contribute to appraisals
· Contribute to written reporting to HQ
Competenciess**
· University degree in a related field Four years’ work experience in a similar field and similar position
· Fluent in written and spoken English
· Good analytical skills
· Good computer skills (MS Office)
